11 The Green isn't just a holiday rental; it's become our family's happy place. Our recent May trip marked our third stay at this charming cottage, and it continues to exceed expectations. The location is simply unbeatable. Stepping out the front door and onto the picturesque Shaldon Green feels like stepping into a postcard. The Teign Estuary unfolds before you, and the beach is a mere stone's throw away. We spent countless hours on the golden sands, building sandcastles with the kids and enjoying the refreshing sea breeze.
When the beach called for a break, a quick trip to Teignmouth provided a delightful change of pace. The vibrant town offered something for everyone. The kids were in arcade heaven, and the plethora of family-friendly activities kept them engaged for hours. To top it all off, we discovered a gem of a crab shack in Teignmouth. The fresh seafood was divine, and the lively atmosphere made it the perfect spot for a relaxed family dinner.
But 11 The Green itself truly stole the show. The owners have meticulously curated a haven for families. The house is exceptionally well-equipped, leaving you wanting for nothing. From the comfortable furnishings to the well-stocked kitchen, everything is designed to ensure a stress-free stay. It felt more like a home away from home than a rental property, and the kids & our dogs had ample space to play and unwind after a day of exploration.

Beautiful cottage that has everything you need, really comfortable and clean. Easy access on arrival. Great communication from the owners. The cottage is set in a lovely friendly village with amenities all within walking distance. The beach is really close by.
We have stayed in this cottage lots of times and we will most certainly return.
it’s difficult to describe how special no. 11 the Green really is! From the wonderful host, to the fantastic location and the cleanliness of the property. The cottage is always spotless and cleaned to the highest standard. The beds are super comfy and the rooms are decorated with a neutral calming tones. The kitchen is a great communal space for the family with a utility space and WC / shower room. The living spaces look out over the green and have a lovely small patio to the front to sit out with a glass of wine (or two). Right in the heart of shaldon this property couldn’t be more perfect. The London inn just across the green is a fantastic PH with great food and the beach just a very short walk away! We have stopped here atleast once a year and hope to continue to do so in the future. Thank you to the hosts for a number of fantastic stays and their continued attention to detail giving us a lot of precious memories. If you’re looking to stay in Shaldon this is one of the best properties around.

Absolutely gorgeous cottage, beautifully renovated and furnished. Sparkling clean, fab kitchen, brilliant location and very comfy beds. One of the best Airbnbs I’ve stayed in and couldn’t recommend it highly enough! Wonderful view over the green and easy walking distance to everything.
This beautiful property is in a wonderful location, just minutes from the sea and small village shops. Perfect for what we wanted from our holiday. The host, Sara, was excellent at responding to queries and was really accommodating to our needs. The house was spotless and we had everything we needed. We had a lovely break there and are keen to return.

We have just returned from a weekend stay at Sara's lovely cottage to celebrate my husband's 50th. From start to finish Sara was absolutely brilliant - quick and helpful responses to all my questions and really helpful recommendations for local eateries etc. The house is in a great location and is a real "home from home", equipped with everything you need. We didn't have any young children but noted that Sara even had a supply of plastic cutlery which we would have found very helpful back in the day! Sara's thoughtful welcome pack was a lovely unexpected surprise and it was fabulous to be able to bring along our family dog. The house was spotless too - really can't fault our experience. Thank you so much Sara - we will be back!
