Coming by train

Teignmouth is on the main Exeter to Plymouth route operated by First Great Western and has a regular train service.

To get to Shaldon quickly we would suggest the use of a taxi or the local bus service. It is 1.4 miles and can be walked although with luggage this might not be ideal.

Stagecoach South West run an hourly bus service.

There is also a foot ferry from the back beach in Teignmouth that runs daily across to Shaldon at regular intervals, service is weather dependant

Exeter is easily accessible from London serviced by trains out of Paddington and Waterloo on a regular basis and other main cities and towns.

Coming by Coach

Use national coach services in to Exeter and then pick up the train service to Teignmouth.
